We want to provide visitors with a local, country experience.
One that is different from what they would see and taste any where else.
We don't just provide and Australian product but a local product.
Our chocolates are handmade above our Cafe.
We use many local ingredients, in our chocolate, our preserves and jams
and our menu items available in the Cafe.
Chocolate Products
Chocolate, fresh cream, dried fruits, nuts, flavourings and alcohol are
stirred in a heavy pan over heat. Each mixture is poured into a stainless
steel tray to set. Then it is turned out onto a bench and cut with a large
knife. The chocolates are individually dipped in and decorated with melted
chocolate. If you are planning a wedding and would like chocolates with
your initials, please talk to one of our staff.
Around the room you can see bowls and baskets filled with fruit and vegetables.
They will be used to make more of the cakes, biscuits, flans, other savory
foods and preserves that we bake for your enjoyment.
Some will have been gifts from friends or customers and some sourced from
our home gardens and our kitchen garden here at Sweet Decadence at Locantro.
